The pieces in the Centering Device series are mirrors that, when stood in front of, negate the viewer's image replacing the viewer with reflections of his/her surroundings. The hope is that this cognitive disconnect will jar the viewer into a state of contemplation or make them think that they are a vampire.

The form of this piece is derived from one of the rarer crystal structures of diamond.
