The "Illuminated Beings" series consists primarily of back lit portraits of pharmacists, drug dealers and young children who look more like small people rather than babies. The series is augmented with photos of drug store windows. These 3 character types create a pantheon for American drug culture. This series complements the hidden landscapes of recreational and pharmaceutical drug culture represented in the "Better Living" Series.
